Wright & Bell expands portfolio with purchase of Kingly Court restaurant

Wright & Bell has added Whyte & Brown to its hospitality portfolio after the purchase of the restaurant in London’s Kingly Court this month.

The group already operates the Kitty Hawk and The Backroom Bar at South Place, Moorgate, with this move strengthening Wright & Bell’s presence across the London market.

The Whyte & Brown is a 132-cover, two storey restaurant, originally launched in 2013.

Sarah Clark, managing director of Wright & Bell, said: “We are delighted to acquire The Whyte & Brown business, in such a strong location.

“We look forward to evolving the offer and have a progressive vision of how this can sit within our portfolio and the current market place. Kingly Court is an extremely popular and vibrant destination in central London and presents us with an excellent growth opportunity.”

Whyte & Brown has traded strongly in Kingly Court and the group has said it will move in with a clear focus on food and new menu plans.

Wright & Bell’s team will work with the Kingly Court site and continue to pursue further new sites in Central London.
