British catering equipment manufacturer Lincat has revealed that it has just completed its largest export order to date.
The shipment, worth £135,000, was to one of the company’s long-term distributors, Mabrook Hotel Supplies Co, in Kuwait, and was dispatched in three 40 foot containers.
The order comprised a selection of products from Lincat’s Silverlink 600 range of medium duty prime cooking equipment, as well as toasters and pizza ovens. Due to its flexible production capabilities, Lincat said it was able to dispatch the order in just three weeks.
Diane Pawlett, export sales manager at Lincat, said: “Mabrook is our long-term partner in Kuwait and has helped us to establish a strong business in the country. They are always keen to introduce new products and it was pleasing to see that they included a quantity of our new Silverlink 600 induction hobs in this order. This deal is testament to our ever-expanding export efforts on an international scale and shows a real strength in our overseas sales.”
Based in Lincoln, Lincat produces over 450 separate products for cooking, holding and food display. Its products have been supplied into more than 50 countries worldwide.
