Checkit’s digital food safety and operations management solution helps businesses to automate food safety and operational tasks ensuring safe, reliable and efficient performance. Taking the complexity out of catering design and kitchen ventilation

CK Direct recognises that whether companies are designing a brand new kitchen or updating an old one, the whole process can be quite complex. It is therefore encouraging visitors to drop into its stand at Restaurant & Takeaway Innovation Expo and meet its expert team. They will provide a lowdown on all of the products to ensure the right components are chosen, ensuring the design and delivery of a well-designed, safe and efficient kitchen ventilation system that will last for years.

After success at the Commercial Kitchen Show, CK Direct is showcasing two of its favourite products along with a brand new ventilation system not yet seen within the commercial kitchen ventilation industry. Existing products comprise the Ozocube, claimed to be the most powerful odour control unit in the UK market, and its new Air Jet Canopy including Franke cascade filters. The manufacturer will also be introducing its CK Recirc system. Stand 1931

Panasonic presses its foot on the foodservice accelerator

Panasonic will be demonstrating how its SCV-2 speed convection oven is winning favour with food to-go-operators that strive to produce high quality food, cooked quickly. Accelerated cooking equipment can mostly offer high speed food with a crisped and browned finish — something that microwave energy alone cannot achieve — but when space is limited, and even without extraction, Panasonic’s super-fast, speed convection oven is a state-of-the-art choice.

It comes with a built-in catalytic converter and is stackable, too. Also on stand will be the new NE-1878, Panasonic’s world-first, all-metal door, professional microwave with inverter technology, launched in this year. Stand 1850
