Adande has pledged that customers won’t see any price increases on its equipment until at least next summer.

The Lowestoft-based refrigeration manufacturer confirmed it has implemented a price freeze on its refrigeration products from now through to June 2021 to support its hospitality customer base.

Manufacturers typically begin the process of adjusting their list prices this time of year, but Adande said it would keep existing purchasing rates as they are despite absorbing cost increases in raw materials due to global shortages caused by Covid-19.

Global sales director, Karl Hodgson explained: “There is no doubt the Covid-19 pandemic is a difficult time for all of us in the hospitality sector. Yet, despite the difficulties, at Adande, we have committed to serving our customers and doing everything we can to support them into the New Year and beyond.

“I am happy to confirm we are holding our current UK prices, freezing them into place. They will not be reviewed until June 2021, at the very earliest.”

The price freeze is the latest in a series of steps that Adande has taken to support customers. It has also recently introduced a five-year warranty across its entire product range and launched an initiative called EasyBuy to spread the cost of payments.
