Administrators working on behalf of Grillstock are hoping to find a buyer for the chain following their appointment last week.
Gareth Roberts and Paul Ellison of KRE Corporate Recovery, an insolvency specialist based in Berkshire, were brought in to keep the business running as they look to orchestrate a positive outcome.
Mr Roberts told FEJ this morning that efforts are being made to contact potential purchasers.
“All of the restaurants remain open and no redundancies have been made whilst we search for a buyer for the company’s trade and assets on a going concern basis,” he said.
“I have also engaged an independent firm of valuers Lambert Smith Hampton to act on my behalf and they will be distributing the sales flyer to their database of potential purchasers and putting it on their website shortly.”
Grillstock was founded in 2010 and has sites in Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Leicester and London. It is also renowned for the festivals that it has staged for the past eight years.
