He said: “The new regional headquarters for Ali Group has been created as a corporate presence in the region and is intended as a support platform for all of our companies.

“The offices can be used as a hot desk for the travelling representatives, somewhere to present, demonstrate or train the local customers or even as a more permanent home. Indeed Lainox has already taken advantage of the demonstration area holding six live presentations in February for the ‘Just Duet’ concept.”

Strategically located in the heart of Dubai, the purpose-built community Dubai Design District is dedicated to promoting local talent and providing a home to established international design, luxury and fashion brands.

The facility is five minutes from the Burj Khalifa making its central location easily accessible to customers with plenty of parking and valet service if required. The complex will include a 1.8km waterfront development which will be populated with food and beverage outlets, hotels, retail and multi-use space.

The first companies to place permanent staff in the offices will be Metro and Lainox.
