Ali Group brand Baron has completed the revamp of its refrigeration line in a move that its UK distribution partner thinks will make it more competitive in the cold products market.
The new range of upright and counter units feature a new design, all arranged to match each other, and provide an energy rating scale from class A to a basic and cost-effective lower rating version.
The high-end Armadi uprights feature AISI 304 stainless steel construction throughout, 83mm insulation with HCFC polyurethane filling and a new electronic control panel for improved accuracy.
A monoblock compressor and easy access service panel add to the offering, with fridge and freezer models available as well as ‘roll in’ options.
The Basic units, meanwhile, still have all stainless steel type 304 construction inside and out but with 75mm insulation and a simple compressor and control mechanism.
The uprights feature a choice of temperature controls and the option of split “stable door” type units with both freezer and fridge compartments.
The counter fridges follow the same pattern with the new Tavoli ‘W’ high spec and the value ‘K’ specification providing the lower price option but with the same ideals as the uprights.
Tony Aris, sales director at Universal Foodservice Equipment, the sole importer for Baron products in the UK, said: “We are delighted with this new range, which has been developed by the R&D team with the objective of EU compliance for the top line and a more competitive second tier, but still within the Baron ethos for quality.”
