A new bar and restaurant concept has opened in Liverpool where every member of waiting staff is a singer and performer.
Modelled along the same lines as the famous Ellen’s Stardust Diner in New York, it will have a film and musical themed menu alongside in-house performances from staff.
Mulholland is the latest bar and restaurant concept devised by Signature Living, the Liverpool -based hotel and restaurant operator.
Kris Mochrie, marketing director of Signature Living, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing our cast of singing waiters to the Mulholland dining experience in what we believe is the UK’s first ever dedicated singing waiters diner.”
The restaurant is located inside the award-winning film and movie-themed hotel Arthouse.
Mochrie added: “All of our waiting staff are all local performing arts and drama students at various performing arts academies and colleges throughout the city.
“It’s truly amazing that we have such amazing and talented homegrown stars in our city and coming through our doors to entertain and perform for our diners.”
All waiting staff have either performed in musical theatre shows and stage productions or are currently studying at various performing arts colleges across Liverpool.
