Ask and Zizzi agree £5m kitchen equipment deal


High street restaurant chains Ask and Zizzi will continue to source kitchenware and crockery from 3663 Catering Equipment after an inking a deal with the company worth £4.8m.

The renewal comes after the restaurants were acquired by private equity firm Bridgepoint under the company name, Azzurri Group.

3663 Catering Equipment will supply cleaning solutions, cookware, utensils and crockery along with bespoke tableware, blackboard and uniform to 137 Zizzi outlets and 110 Ask restaurants in the UK.

As part of an expansion drive, Azzurri Group aims to open 15 new Ask and Zizzi outlets per year, across the UK, which 3663 will also supply kit to.

“Both Ask and Zizzi have strong positions in the fast casual dining market and this partnership will help us develop each brand further at this exciting time.”

Paul Knight, director of 3663 Catering Equipment and non-food, said the agreement builds on the partnership that the company has had with the two brands over the past five years.

“Our priority is to make our customers’ lives easier by delivering a full offer that includes everything that operators need to prepare and serve food to end customers,” he said. “We have a proven track record of working with clients in the fast casual dining segment and supporting their growth and we are pleased that we were chosen as a good fit with the ambitious plans for Ask and Zizzi.”
