The first international outlet for popular Australian brand Butcher and the Farmer has opened at London’s The O2.
AEG and Crosstree Real Estate Partners announced that the restaurant had signed terms with the venue and would join more than 30 other restaurants at the London venue.
The franchise specialises in farm-to-table food, while this particular outlet will have a bar and beer garden.
It has been operating since 2015 and has branches in Sydney.
Callie Van Der Merwe of Design Partnerships, which designed the site, said: “At Butcher and the Farmer London we have sought to incorporate an intrinsic sense of simplicity, honesty and transparency into our restaurant design, in which notions of community and an Australian marketplace play a strong part.
“We hope customers will appreciate the harmonised and welcoming atmosphere we have developed. We look forward to welcoming them into this new space.”
