In some areas of the UK, demand has caused a shortage of ovens, with areas such as north London and Birmingham fully booked for the next six weeks.

Andrea Guzzoni, CEO of Rentuu, said: “We have directly seen the effect of Great British Bake Off on the UK over the last three weeks, with October and November’s record rentals for cooking equipment and catering requests.

“With the upsurge in rentals, Rentuu allows customers and clients a hassle-free renting service, so they don’t have to worry about storage and they can get what they need when they need it.”

Rentuu was set up to make it easy for event planners and operational business teams to get hold of rental products.

The online service allows both suppliers and consumers to compare prices online, immediately check the availability of stock and eliminate the need for traditional renting procedures such as PDFs and brochures.
