Baron freezes UK prices following lengthy talks with factory

Cooking equipment manufacturer Baron’s sole UK partner, Universal Foodservice Equipment, has announced that factory gate prices have been fixed for 2017, ensuring no unexpected pricing surprises for customers between now and December.

“We are delighted to receive news, following lengthy discussions, that for the third year running Baron have managed to hold their ex works prices and further more guaranteed them for the whole of 2017,” he said.

“This move is a great help to all our customers in the UK and in particular those distributors and contractors who are working on projects with long lead times and need a guarantee of price control.”

Aris added: “Unfortunately Brexit has not helped with the currency devaluation, but we have hedged as best we can and consequently this action has avoided much of the financial heartache for our customers and ourselves.”

Universal FSE was established in 2001 as the Ali Group partner in the UK for the Baron brand. The company’s range includes heavy duty, professional cooking equipment.
