Independent caterer, Bartlett Mitchell, has promoted David Steel to the post of chef director for business development.
Mr Steel, who has been with the company for two and half years as a development chef, will play a crucial role in supporting and developing new and existing contracts across the company’s growing portfolio.
His promotion follows a prolonged period of exceptional progress for Bartlett Mitchell, which saw annual turnover climb to £39m after seven consecutive years of double-digit growth.
Prior to joining bartlett mitchell, David’s extensive experience in the foodservice sector included senior chef roles at Barclays and Sky TV.
He will report to strategic business development director James Greetham, who recently joined the business.
