Compass Group subsidiary Eurest plans to rev up its kitchen operations after confirming a five-year contract to provide catering services to a number of Volkswagen Group, Bentley and Porsche UK offices.
The deal will see Eurest invest more than £1.3m into the trio’s facilities to revitalise and enhance the catering environments across their offices.
The spend on new equipment and dining areas will be spread across five locations including Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, the Porsche Cars Great Britain HQ in Reading, The Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone and Volkswagen Group’s Blakelands and Wymbush offices in Milton Keynes.
“We pride ourselves on creating contemporary foodservice solutions from the tea-room to the board room — and everything in between,” said Andy Barry, managing director of Eurest. “This contract is a true reflection of the scope of services we can offer and we have designed a bespoke solution to suit each brand’s culture, catering requirements and demographic.”
The sites will need to be supported by robust and reliable kitchen hardware, with more than 70 staff set to cater for over 6,000 people across the five sites. The contract encompasses staff catering, hospitality, event catering and vending.
Eurest confirmed it intends to offer the Bentley and Porsche teams access to an innovative food court, while refurbishments will be made to existing restaurants and new cafes introduced at the Volkswagen Group.
