Bill’s has transformed its flagship restaurant in Soho and re-opened it with new decor, menu and service, in just 10 days.
The fast-track project was revealed by CEO Duncan Garrood, who took to LinkedIn to praise the efforts of his staff as the business implements a number of changes.
Mr Garrood said he doesn’t usually talk about his business on such a platform, but was compelled to hail his colleagues for their work following some “great collaboration and intense activity”.
“It looks amazing, the restaurant team are delivering brilliant experiences, customers are loving it and giving great feedback,” he said. “I also announced some tough decisions, which the team have taken in their stride, and they remained firmly positive. Incredible determination and focus shone through.”
Bill’s has also been working on the transformation of its Greenwich restaurant, which re-opens this week, and a further site, which is due to relaunch the week after, Mr Garood revealed.
He continued: “With all this going on, the remaining restaurants drove up their standards, and LFL sales have improved. Our marketing team launched a whole new website, and signed up a new PR agency. Our finance team devised new simplified reports and brought us some great new insights. These are just some of the things Team Bill’s did last week and they made me very proud.”
Former Punch Taverns chief Mr Garrood took over in January following the shock resignation of Mark Fox.
