Blanco Professional is planning a change of name as part of a major corporate rebrand, it has revealed.
The company, which supplies food transportation systems and serving trolleys to catering businesses, said it would officially announce the moniker along with an updated logo in September, before showcasing it to a wider audience of trade professional at the HOST trade fair in October.
Blanco said it intends to present a “more modern, more digital and more agile” look that better reflects the direction of the business.
Egon Kofler, who took over as managing director of Blanco Professional nine months ago, said: “Our new brand will convey the values which represent us today: modern, agile and uncompromisingly customer-focussed. It will unite our dynamism with the security we will continue to have as part of the Blanc & Fischer family holding.”
Mr Kofler said the new name will encompass the merging of the company and product brands. It will therefore be used to identify the products in future, thus showing their origin clearly and consistently.
“This will allow the product brand and the company brand to strengthen each other,” he explained.
Founded as Blanc & Co. in 1925 and spun off as Blanco in 2007, Blanco Professional Group employs 700 staff and achieved a turnover of €103m (£88m) last year.
The Blanc & Fischer family holding has a majority share in Blanco Professional.
