BRITA Professional names managerial replacement for Glenn Roberts

Steve Buckmaster, BRITA roundtable 2016

Water filtration specialist BRITA Professional has named Steve Buckmaster as its new sales director.

Buckmaster has been part of the BRITA team since 2002, leading on the development of sector plans while coordinating with trade association CEDA.

The company said his hard work and passion for the company has led to a 25% increase in sales in the catering sector during the last five years – a work ethic he plans to take forward to his new role.

Prior to joining BRITA, he worked in a wide range of roles in the foodservice sector at companies such as Aramark and Häagen-Dazs.

His career at BRITA has seen him gain valuable and in-depth knowledge in all business sectors that BRITA caters for, including coffee, vending and catering. This has provided him with a unique understanding of the operational and commercial needs of not only equipment manufacturers and distributors but also end-users.

“I am thrilled to be the new sales director for BRITA Professional – a role that I know will be exciting and challenging. It is an enormously exciting time for the company and I am looking forward to building on BRITA’s success in the foodservice industry,” he stated.

Mr Buckmaster replaces Glenn Roberts, who left the company last week to join Polar Refrigeration, the commercial refrigeration brand supplied by Nisbets.
