The Commercial Kitchen trade show has unveiled its initial speaker line-up for its return and debut London event on 23-24 September at ExCeL.
As part of the programme, Foodservice Equipment Journal and Catering Insight editors, Clare Nicholls and Andrew Seymour, will be hosting a special live edition of their Market Talk chat show at the event.
The session will see them welcome C&C Catering Equipment MD Peter Kitchin and Hatherley Commercial Services’ MD Kirstin Hatherley to discuss how to create Britain’s best professional kitchens.
“Visitors to the show will be able to see our conversation exclusively, well in advance of it appearing on our YouTube channels and websites, so make sure you don’t miss out on attending.”
Commercial Kitchen’s speaker programme will also include well-known chefs Sat Bains, Tom Aikens, Cyrus Todiwala and Neil Rankin.
The organisers will also welcome Nick Vadis, culinary director of Compass Group UK & Ireland, industry who, in the last three years, has been recognised with both a Lifetime Achievement accolade and a FEJ Award for Outstanding Service to the Industry.

Also on the programme, chefs join industry experts on stage in panels aimed at discussing both trends and mainstay topics, including sessions run by show partners Ceda, FCSI UK&I, Craft Guild of Chefs and The Master Chefs of Great Britain.
There will also be a panel on stadia kitchens featuring Mark Reynolds and Thomas Rhodes, a panel on hotel kitchens featuring Anthony Fletcher, Stuart Duff and Shaun Rankin. Other panel topics include public sector kitchens featuring Andy Jones, Sue Cawthray and Craig Smith; delivery kitchens featuring Mike Faers; plant-based cuisine featuring Neil Rankin and Mikey Pearce; sustainability featuring Mark Shelby and SRA MD Juliane Caillouette-Noble; and mental health chaired by Kris Hall, Founder of The Burnt Chef Project.
The Burnt Chef Project challenges mental health stigma within the hospitality industry and has been announced as the show’s official charity partner for 2021.
The panel features Burnt Chef advocates Sat Bains, Adam Simmonds, Stuart Ralston and Amy Elles, and will focus on the importance of alleviating stress through kitchen design.
The programme is free of charge to trade buyers and takes place alongside the show, which features over 100 brands sharing the latest kitchen innovations.
