Byron Hamburger steps into Shakespeare city role

Hamburger group Byron is to open a new site in Stratford-upon-Avon as part of its expansion across the UK.

Byron Hamburgers will become a key part of the £30million Bell Court redevelopment in Stratford-on-Avon, which also boasts a new boutique cinema, according to a report in the Coventry Telegraph.

Byron has 37 sites in London and one each in the northern towns of Derby, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle and Leicester. Byron has opened 15 sites since the beginning of 2014.

The new 3,860 sq ft site has been signed on a 20-year lease in the shopping centre which is due to be open by mid-2017. Bell Court offers more than 70,000 sq ft of retail, restaurant and leisure space, including a 12,000 sq ft Everyman cinema.
