Carpigiani bolsters portfolio of gelato equipment

Carpigiani Ready 2

Ice cream machine giant Carpigiani has launched a completely new appliance to strengthen its existing range of gelato equipment.

The Carpigiani Ready is a system that is capable of mixing, heating and freezing in one, and comes complete with nine automated programmes, including three for use with liquid mixes and six for paste- and powder-based mixes.

The Ali Group-owned brand claims operators will find the Ready extremely simple to use, yet able to produce outstanding authentic artisan gelato time after time.

It is ideal for those sites with limited space or for operators currently serving manufactured ice cream but looking to produce smooth and indulgent homemade gelato. The Ready is able to pasteurise up to a maximum temperature of 90°c, rapidly cool and churn using the latest beater design at the press of a button.

The machine is fitted with a warm water spray gun and flexible hose, while the steel door, beater and extraction chute are all removable. It has an hourly capacity of up to 60 litres of finished product.Carpigiani - Ready (High)

Scott Duncan, sales director of Carpigiani UK, said: “The brand new Carpigiani Ready will launch for the first time in the UK at Hotelympia in March. Offering excellent potential to businesses, operators can produce and sell fresh gelato every day, simply, economically and in a modular fashion.”

The system is fully automated, meaning the operator can simply select the programme to suit their mix, adding all the necessary ingredients, indicated by the display panel.

When dry filling, the machine automatically hydrates and mixes inside the machine, saving time and also avoiding measuring errors. Upon completion, the Ready alerts the operator with audible beeps before the extraction button is pressed and the door opened to reveal the fresh gelato.
