Carpigiani is cream of the crop with compact dessert equipment

Carpigiani gelato

With a reputation for manufacturing high quality equipment and delivering exceptional service, Carpigiani will be out to show why it’s a leader in the production of artisan gelato, pastry and soft-serve ice cream equipment at Hotelympia next week.

The company will be highlighting the latest developments in soft-serve ice cream as well as launching the ultra-compact new 161 range, its smallest ever soft serve machine.

The unique design of the 161 features a small footprint and air-cooled technology which generates flow through a removable air filter at the base of the unit, which allows the unit to be positioned directly next to another appliance, making it ideal for even the most compact commercial kitchen.

A contemporary stainless-steel design, complete with multifunctional display, standard 13-amp plug-and-go operation and delivered ‘Teorema Ready’ giving operators the choice of using Carpigiani’s unique remote monitoring and diagnostic software, achieves an easy to use appliance, with an hourly output of up to 15kg.

What’s more, the 161 G SP, self-pasteurising model is capable of achieving a 42-day cleaning cycle, and features a heated cylinder function to quickly defrost the chamber for rapid cleaning.

The Carpigiani stand (1910) will also be home to a series of live demonstrations from top chefs and gelato masters over the four-day event.
