Two new hospitality forums are set to debut later this month, giving industry professionals the chance to network in a closed environment.
The Catering Equipment & Services Forum and the Hospitality Tech & Innovation Forum are tailored specifically for senior hospitality professionals and will run back-to-back on March 25 & 26 at Whittlebury Hall in Northamptonshire.
The Catering Equipment & Services Forum is set to be attended by 60 senior catering procurement professionals, with the delegate list including representatives from Agincare Group, The Belfry Hotel Resort & Golf Club, Marriott Hotels, Southampton Football Club, Kew Green Hotels, Searcys, TGI Friday’s, Doubletree Hilton and Cambridge University among others.
The event is free to attend for CEOs, general managers, financial directors and senior purchasers.
There will be an opportunity for buyers to meet with suppliers on a pre-arranged, face-to-face basis and attend insightful industry seminars hosted.
Buyers receive complimentary hospitality, including overnight accommodation, meals and refreshments, and an invitation to a gala dinner with entertainment.
FEJ will be running a special seminar session on the first afternoon of the event titled ‘The Rise of the Machines’. It will feature Dean Hoddle, head chef at Silverstone and Gary Devereux, executive chef at House of Lords, discussing the impact that connected kitchens are having on their businesses.
Meanwhile, Simon Stenning, founder of Futurefoodservice.com and Frances Bull, sales and marketing director at Studio William, will give a presentation on what the foodservice market will look like in 2030, while the BBC’s Nigel Barden will interview acclaimed chefs Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala.
