Catering equipment specialists Mitchell & Cooper PressDome has been deemed the best light equipment product by the industry.
The award was voted for by the chefs, buyers and distributors who attended the 2016 CESA Light Equipment and Tableware Trade Forum in Northamptonshire earlier this month.
The PressDome system is available to the UK exclusively through Mitchell & Cooper. Simple to use with just one press of the pump, air is expelled and a vacuum is produced around the dish, keeping food fresher for up to three times longer than traditional methods.
Guaranteeing no loss of flavour, texture or temperature, the PressDome is very well-suited to room service and allows food to be easily transported over several stories within a hotel, care home or hospital. It is safe for use in the refrigerator, freezer and top rack of a dishwasher making it highly durable. In addition, the classic model is microwave safe, meaning that food can be reheated if necessary.

PressDome units are available in a variety of sizes. The jumbo and tall models are ideal for larger foods such as whole roast chickens. The universal size is suitable for most main meals and the smaller junior model has been designed for side plates and salad bowls. All of the units are stackable enabling compact storage within even the smallest hotel kitchen.
