Operations management service provider, Checkit, has expanded its operations with a new compliance and risk management service.
The digital service, which will be headed by risk management services director Chris Hassall, said it will be the first of its kind to offer “continuous compliance monitoring” and will provide expert end-to-end support on a consultancy basis.
By making compliance regimes digital, Checkit’s technology eliminates the need for paper-based systems, making it easier for operators and staff to monitor.
The company said that rather than relying on occasional audit visits and paperwork inspections, its digital technology can act like a “Fitbit” for businesses by showing how “healthy” its compliance processes are, allowing remote monitoring and early diagnosis of problems.
With Checkit, managers can monitor and analyse routine which is achieved by configuring mobile checklist applications and real-time alerts through smart sensors and analytics, which can improve performance through higher quality, improved productivity and reduced risk.
The service will consist of end-to-end consultancy to develop and implement airtight compliance procedures; remote and physical auditing to ensure total readiness for random local authority inspections; and a helpline to offer advice in emergencies, minimising the impact of negative outcomes.
Mr Hassall said: “Combining traditional compliance support with Checkit’s unique technology solution allows us to offer an extremely efficient, but high-quality service.
“Complete visibility of due diligence allows our compliance service offering to be more informed and therefore more effective. It’s high time that the industry took advantage of the possibilities of digital technology and it’s exciting to be at the forefront of this massive change.”
