Co-op to introduce new coffee shop brand in ten stores

Co-op is set to revamp and relaunch 10 coffee shops after agreeing a deal with Churchill Catering.

The shops, which will take the new brand name ‘& Coffee’, will stock locally produced products and are being designed to act at ‘community hubs’.

The stores will be opened between August and October, with the first opening at the Ridgeway store.

The other ‘& Coffee’ shops will be located at Co-ops stores in in Heathfield, Holmfirth, Hove, Inverness, Louth, Peacehaven, Ryde, Wadebridge, and Wickford.

Mark Pettigrew, Director of Innovation & Format at Co-op, said, “We want the coffee shops to be a place for the community to meet and enjoy a range of quality drinks and snacks, all under the new ‘& Coffee’ banner.

“We’re really excited to be partnering with an expert in this field and to be able to offer our customers new reasons to visit us as we deliver a great new coffee experience.”
