Combination oven manufacturer Retigo launches UK subsidiary

Retigo Orange Vision Plus combi oven

Following an unprecedented year in which the company successfully launched three new products, premium combination oven manufacturer Retigo has announced the setting up of a UK subsidiary – following on from the German subsidiary launched back in 2018.

Effective from this month, Retigo UK Sales will be managed by Simon Callus and Rob Gibson who are the directors of Commercial Catering Products (CCP) and who, with the support of the Retigo team, have made significant progress in promoting Retigo’s comprehensive range of ovens ever since they became sole UK agents for the firm in July.

Retigo UK will deliver both distributor and operator clients many benefits, including UK-held stock of both products and spares, improved deliveries and a dedicated technical support team headed up by Retigo UK technical manager Mike Griffiths.

This will further enhance all post-sale support and improve the company’s outstanding reputation for customer service.

Aneta Halamickova, director of Retigo UK, said: “After analysing the British market, we realised what level of support services would be required by our existing and potential customers. Thanks to their support and to the substantial investment of Retigo into the UK market, I am pleased to say that we are now coming with a full package of UK-based services, including a team of professionals who I am proud of.”

Simon Callus, director of CCP, commented: “We’re delighted to announce the creation of Retigo UK to support our ambitious plans for 2021 onwards. Ever since we started working with Retigo, the feedback we have received from our customers has been extremely positive.

“As the country and economy recovers from the impact of Covid-19, the benefits of purchasing a Retigo oven will become even more compelling.”

Ms Halamickova said: “Retigo ovens offer User benefits, significant operational savings and environmental benefits at very competitive prices. With UK-based chefs on hand to provide product training for all clients and a dedicated UK office, we are excited to continue the great progress we have made in 2020 in promoting Retigo’s many benefits to our distributors as well as end-users alike.”

To aid the promotion of Retigo UK, the firm has also appointed marketing agency CreationADM to become its new partners.  Manchester-based CreationADM has considerable experience in the distributor and hospitality sectors, counting the trade association ceda and other leading companies as long-serving clients.

CreationADM’s marketing manager Peter Walker said: “We’re delighted to be working with Retigo UK and its exciting range of products here in the UK.”
