Commercial Kitchen supports industry recovery as it counts down to comeback

Commercial Kitchen’s 2021 edition will be the “most important show yet” its organisers have said, after coming on board as the Supporting Partner of the FEJ Awards.

The exhibition at London ExCeL takes place on 23-24 September, with the FEJ Awards taking place on the first evening of the show at the nearby Hilton Canary Wharf.

Event manager Katie Tyler said: “Like Commercial Kitchen these much-needed awards are completely dedicated to this industry and focused on celebrating the innovation within it.

“This year will see our most important show yet as we return to the new normal and the awards allow for even greater networking for buyers and exhibitors alike after day one of Commercial Kitchen.

“We’ve all missed face-to-face events and after a year like no other I for one can’t wait to reconnect with old friends and hopefully meet new ones too. The FEJ Awards are a much-needed celebration.”

Commercial Kitchen is set to take place alongside sister shows Lunch! and Casual Dining, creating a huge comeback “supershow” for foodservice and hospitality.

“Operators can expect to see hundreds of innovations, many being launched at Commercial Kitchen, along with our best ever seminar programme – which is all free,” Ms Tyler.

With the industry looking to mount a recovery after the most turbulent 18 months in its history, Ms Tyler said there has never been a more important time for suppliers to come together to do business with key buyers.

“While online events have had their place over the pandemic, nothing beats the face-to-face interaction. Being able to see new products and solutions under one roof is more important than ever before.”
