A leading chef who runs his own restaurant consultancy is branching into the world of light duty catering equipment by launching a range of wooden cooking utensils.
Damian Wawrzyniak, who heads the Fine Art of Dining Food Consultancy, has begun marketing a range of high quality wooden utensils under the ‘Fine Art of Dining’ name. The initial portfolio includes everything from spoons and chopping boards to tables and chairs.
He said; “Part of being a top-class chef is ensuring your instruments and tools are of the highest standard. Procuring quality utensils is just as important as sourcing the finest ingredients. That’s why I’ve set about designing a high-end range of kitchen utensils that can be used by all.”
Wawrzyniak, who previously worked in the kitchens of two Michelin Star restaurants and gained experience at renowned Danish restaurant Noma, has already sold more than 300 pieces and plans to develop more items for the collection.
As well as selling to the restaurant trade, aspiring home cooks will be able to get hold of the products, he said.
Wawrzyniak’s consultancy business helps transform flagging restaurants, bistros and cafes with menu development, staff training and kitchen design services.
