Contract caterer brings in ops specialist to grow business

Contract caterer Gather & Gather is ramping up its operations north of the border with the appointment of a new sales director in Scotland.

The company, which used to be known as Mitie until a rebranding two years ago, has hired Stephen McDade to fill the post.

He joins the team after previously serving as group operations director for the UK with Centerplate, formerly The Lindley Group. He had worked with the caterer for five years.

McDade can call on 16 years’ experience in the catering services sector, including coverage of fine dining restaurants and boutique hotels to top sporting venues. Past roles have included site director at Murrayfield Stadium and Rangers FC, as well as Hampden Park, Scotland’s National Stadium.

We have real ambition to grow the business, building on our existing Scottish portfolio of contracts and strong regional food provenance.”
