Industry events are all on hold at the moment as the UK battles the coronavirus pandemic – but that hasn’t deterred foodservice equipment supplier Culimat from ensuring operators don’t miss out on learning about the latest high-speed cooking equipment.
The company, which represents XpressChef and Menumaster from ACP in the European market, is set to hold the industry’s first ever web-streamed live cooking event on 16 April.
Hosted at the National Catering Equipment Centre in Bristol and streamed via Facebook, the session will give operators an insight to the latest high speed cooking technology.
They will get an in-depth introduction to the new Sous Chef and XpressChef units, which UK and Ireland sales manager, Brian Lavelle says “cost as little as a toasted sandwich to run per day and require little to no cuisine experience to operate”.
He added: “We have seen a turn in cooking habits over recent years with more operators turning to high speed cooking as the solution to service the demands of the millennials and under-staffed UK kitchens.”
The event will be live-streamed via Culimat’s Facebook page from 11am on 16 April, with a live Q&A session during the demo for those watching on.
“The event promises to be a real eye opener and open to all,” continued Mr Lavelle. “We will demonstrate the cooking performance as well as explain the features and benefits of its built in WiFi, quick cooling down capability, touchscreen and safer lower door. We will also showcase the rest of the Menumaster microwave family live.”
ACP – better known as ‘Amana Microwaves’ in North America – is now owned by Ali Group and specialises in accelerated cooking technology for the commercial market.
