British melamine food display specialist Dalebrook has launched a new tableware collection designed exclusively for the recently-opened Shanghai Disney Resort Restaurants.
The Essex-based firm’s in-house design team was tasked with creating 53 bespoke tableware collections for the resort’s restaurants – Mickey & Pals Café, Wandering Moon Teahouse, Tangled Tree Tavern and Pinocchio Village Kitchen – with a brief to reflect Disney’s spirit of happiness and making memories.
As the only melamine supplier to the resort, Dalebrook said it was able to combine its long-established reputation for design excellence with the latest in melamine innovation to deliver a memorable tableware collection.
Each themed restaurant is now able to deliver a unique experience with food and tableware to match, including bowls, plates and skillets.
The company has even created exclusive Mickey Mouse-shaped shaped pizza plates as well wood tableware for the Pinocchio Village Kitchen that takes its inspiration from the intrinsic detail of Gepetto’s famous wooden puppet.
Jennie Knott, managing director of Dalebrook, said: “Collaborating with Disney Shanghai has been a fantastic opportunity for Dalebrook’s in-house design team to create innovative products that are both visually exciting and engaging. Disney is such an iconic brand and we are thrilled to be the only melamine supplier to the resort.”
Dalebrook boasts more than 70 years’ experience of developing tableware for the catering and foodservice markets.
