DC Products has signed up to back the Distributor of the Year – Corporate Social Responsibility category for the forthcoming Kitchen & Equipment Awards Week organised by FEJ and Catering Insight.
The digital awards programme will see winners revealed during the week commencing 30 November, in YouTube presentations premiering on both publications’ YouTube channels.
Nominations have now closed for the event, with entries well into three figures. The shortlists will be revealed in both titles’ November issues.
Subsequently, online voting will be opened to senior executives of operators, distributors and suppliers, ensuring each cannot vote on their own category.
DC Products director, Bob Wood, said it was thrilled to sponsor the Corporate Social Responsibility category award.
“It’s a vital development and recognises the responsibility of all businesses to our duty of care, not only to those we work with, those around us and the environment we live in, but to greater society as well. It has been a wonderful opportunity for us at DC to reflect on our own Corporate Social Responsibility agenda too, giving birth earlier in the year to our well received Tree Planting initiative.”
Mr Wood welcomed the Kitchen & Equipment Awards Week initiative overall, too, given that it remains a tremendously challenging time for the industry.
