Deliveroo is promising to give its restaurant partners access to the huge volume of data it captures so that they can improve efficiency and gain a greater understanding of kitchen performance.
The delivery giant has built up a comprehensive picture of consumer habits through the use of its ‘Frank’ algorithm and it now intends to use this knowledge and experience to provide restaurants with personalised data insight to help their businesses.
The information will be powered through ‘Restaurant Home’, a powerful new portal that gives restaurants insight and analysis.
Through ‘Restaurant Home’, restaurants that partner with Deliveroo will be given analysis of order volumes and how to increase growth, as well as data on preparation and collection times to help restaurants speed up delivery and data on refunds, causes and how to reduce wastage.
The portal will also include intelligence on menu click-throughs and how to improve restaurant ratings, and comparisons to top performers and local area averages.
Deliveroo hopes the platform will become the one-stop shop for restaurants to handle their marketing, insights and support offered by the food delivery company.
