Design consultants award equipment honour to Hobart’s latest kitchen innovation

Hobart’s Two Level Washer

Hobart’s new two-level washer has received a Sustainable Catering Award from the FCSI in recognition of its efforts to create a more environmentally-friendly washer.

The new Hobart washer is designed to save on space, time, water and energy, minimising its environmental impact.

Hobart claims to have doubled the product’s capacity and productivity. Furthermore, it has reduced operating costs by 20% and detergent consumption by 35%.

Hobart Equipment Division managing director David Riley received the accolade at the recent CESA conference.

UK sales director Tim Bender says: “This award is recognition of Hobart’s position as a frontrunner in sustainable catering. We’ve invested four years of research and development into the Two-Level Washer and receiving this award from the FSCI is a wonderful reminder that all our hard work is paying off.”
