DoubleTree by Hilton is stepping up its beverage offering thanks to a partnership with coffee chain Starbucks.
The chain’s Swindon hotel will now offer the full Starbucks experience on site for all guests and non-guests.
The drinks service will offer both sit in and take away options, meaning that guests can utilise the lobby area or take their hot drink with them on the go.
Adam Flint, general manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon, said the latest partnership would add an extra touch to the hotel’s offering.
“Starbucks is a UK favourite and loved by business people on the go, families, the sleep deprived and coffee addicts, to name but a few. DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon is set in the Wiltshire countryside, near Junction 16 of the M4 motorway and just three miles from Swindon town centre, making it the ideal location to pop in and pick up your Starbucks drink.”
Starbucks said it would play its part in DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon’s commitment to sustainable and ethical sourcing of products, with 99% of its coffee coming from ethical sources.
Hilton first entered into a master licensing agreement with Starbucks 12 years ago and has opened dozens of Starbucks stores in its properties since.
Under the agreement, selected Hilton, Doubletree and Embassy Suites Hotels have had the opportunity to open and operate a Starbucks store within their hotel location provided they meet Starbucks’ business and licensing requirements.
