Ed’s Easy Diner

Ed’s Easy Diner and Rhode Island Coffee will both commence fit-out projects at The Mall Blackburn after confirming their tenancy at the venue this morning.

Both chains have signed contracts to occupy units at The Mall Blackburn, which is owned by Capital & Regional and boasts an average annual footfall in excess of 13 million.

The site will be the fourth that Ed’s Easy Diner operates in the north west. It has taken a 3,100 square foot space with a lease term of 15 years.

The 1950s-style retro diner will provide visitors with a taste of the US with Ed’s classic American food and drink, from breakfast, through to lunch and dinner.

Coffee chain Rhode Island has agreed to take 1,400 square foot of space on a 10-year lease, strengthening its presence in Lancashire.

“We are delighted to have secured these operators, which are strong additions to The Mall Blackburn,” said Will Blake, retail asset manager at Capital & Regional. “They will add to our already diverse food and beverage offer; enhancing vitality and the shopping experience in the heart of the town.”
