Ed’s Easy Diner today announced a major revamp of its menu, with a series of flexible and on-trend options to cater to customers’ changing tastes.
The new menu, which will roll out across the country, sees several new Americana dishes, a range of vegan dishes and drinks and a refreshed gluten-free offering.
Following the success of the brand’s vegan activity in the first quarter of the year, Ed’s has made the decision to offer its first permanent Vegan Burger, christened the ‘Beet-Root 66’.
Two vegan dessert options – peanut butter and banana sundae and The Big Apple – have been added to the listing Ed’s will also offer its legendary shakes as vegan options, with a choice of six flavours, regular and deluxe.
Gluten-free dishes continue to be a mainstay of Ed’s menu and the range has been further enhanced with the addition of new burgers and breakfast options.
Martyn Davies, head of operations at Ed’s Easy Diner, said: “We’re excited with our new menu which reflects both customer feedback and our own insight into on-trend dishes. Whilst we’ve kept many of Ed’s original classics, we’re now delighted to offer new switched-up diner options, an enhanced gluten-free range and our tasty new Vegan dishes.
“Changes to the main menu, non-dish related, include the move to our new ‘Menu Build’ with guests now having the flexibility to go solo or the option to add additional sides, classic or premium. This new flexibility is already proving particularly appealing to the younger generations.”
Other new menu items include the Nashville Burger – a fried chicken burger tossed in Frank’s Hot Sauce, with American cheese, cheese sauce and an onion ring.
Meanwhile, Ed’s hot dogs have been upgraded to a new range of foot long hot dogs.
Another new addition to the menu is the southern salad, a mixed salad served on a taco base with a choice of chicken and halloumi topping, plus two new ‘freakshakes’ called ‘Mud Pie’ and ‘Go Bananas’.
Kids and families form a major focus for Ed’s Easy Diner, so the children’s menus have also been extended with an increased range of dishes.
