Equipment brands take aim at café buyers

The 10th annual Caffe Culture Show got underway at London Olympia this morning, with equipment manufacturers taking centre stage at the event as they unveil a raft of innovations.

New grinders, espresso makers, coffee machines, refrigeration equipment, display counters, juicers and warewashing equipment are among the items on display from some of top suppliers to the coffee shop sector.

In the coffee machine category, WMF is giving buyers a firsthand look at its hybrid Espresso machine, Franke is showcasing no fewer than four new coffee systems and La Cimbali is rolling out its new bean to cup machines. Arzum Electrical Appliances is demonstrating the first automatic Turkish coffee machine

Counterline is interesting buyers with the UK’s first space-saving cross merchandiser with hot, cold and ambient display, while RSS Hereford is paining its hopes on the unique 90-degree curved Baroque Vision refrigerated display counter going down a storm with the industry.

Nelson Catering Equipment is championing its Advantage dishwasher range, Jestic is highlighting the new Zumex Soul professional compact juicer and Osborne Refrigerators is demonstrating the new DC4 display counter and 280E triple door cabinet.

Cheryl Carroll, event director for the two-day show, said: “The Caffè Culture Show has always been a hotbed of innovation and new ideas. We’re delighted that so many producers and suppliers value the show as the perfect opportunity to launch the industry’s most exciting new products.”
