Second production kitchen boosts capacity for catering firm

Specialist event caterer Just Hospitality has reportedly tripled its operational capacity by opening a second production kitchen in London.

The group has installed a new 5,000 square foot kitchen on the site of the old Nadells Patisserie in Islington. Just Hospitality will be able to cook more than 2,000 covers every day from the site.

The business already runs an existing production kitchen in Bermondsey, which currently produces around 1,000 meals a day.

The launch of the kitchen follows a strong period of growth for the firm, which has seen it secure a string of deals worth more than £1.3m from the technology sector.

Just Hospitality expects the additional kitchen capacity to help it win business with new customers and is looking to hire chefs to support the expansion. It is reported that the new facility will employ 25 chefs.

The kitchen will be used to develop a wider range of menu options and assist B&I customers with widening their food offering for staff.
