Maidaid has been appointed as Brema Ice Makers’ principle partner for the UK.

The company’s extensive range of ice machines are predominately supplied from the Brema factory located close to Milan. Maidaid’s relationship with Brema started back in 2002 and over that period the pair have built up a strong relationship.

Brema has all the qualities that Maidaid looks for in a long-term partnership, including quality products, world-class research and development, worldwide quality accreditation and a flexible manufacturing approach with rapid turnaround from order to delivery.

It also has a strong ethical policy in terms of environment and personnel.

Due to the strengthening of the partnership both Maidaid and Brema have, for the first time in their history, agreed to supply dual-branded products into the UK market.

The new dual branding will be evident on products supplied over the next few months.

Maidaid’s sales director, Julian Lambert, told FEJ that he was extremely pleased to see a further endorsement for the Maidaid brand.

“This is an exciting time for Maidaid as Brema is an internationally-recognised manufacturer of ice machines, which will further endorse our brand. We look forward to working even closer together in the future.”

Cesare Maroli, president of Brema Ice Machines, said the company has been making ice machines since 1985.

He commented: “Precision and punctuality are our mission and way of life. Our ethics in trading transparency in managing the company and respect for our distributors across many countries in the world summarise the principles, which underpin our business. With 100% ‘Made in Italy’ quality, our products are fully tested to the highest standards and are fully certificated. Our business processes starting from our suppliers to our partners such as Maidaid are good examples of excellence we look for and are excited to work alongside.”
