FEJ ZOOM: How Crussh has fired up its supply chain to feed the NHS

Crussh Fit Food & Juice Bars has been hugely active during the lockdown – delivering cold press juices to NHS workers from the outset, rolling out a home delivery service and joining the ‘Feed the Frontline’ campaign to provide hot meals to hospital locations.

It has therefore been a busy time for Supply Chain & Operations Director, Nick Nathan, as his usual day job has thrown up new challenges during the most testing of circumstances.

In this FEJ Zoom chat, (which you can view by clicking the play button above), Mr Nathan spoke to Andrew Seymour about why the company felt it was important to support the NHS and the obstacles it has encountered since opening up its central production kitchen again.

He also discusses the new supply chain challenges that are likely to confront foodservice operators going forward and the complexities of modelling its store operations for future reopenings.
