FEM has announced the first London dates in its ‘Vector Live at a Taste of Alto-Shaam’ programme.
The City of Westminster College will host the popular live cooking demonstrations, kicking off in November 2019.
FEM’s development chef, Alan Evans, will lead the events, focusing on the Vector four-in-one multi-cook oven, which is manufactured in the USA by Alto-Shaam.
“The only way to get a real appreciation of the radical design of the Vector – and its huge potential – is to see it in action,” he says.
FEM already runs Vector Live events around the UK and has been searching for a suitable London venue. “The kitchen is ideal for this type of demonstration, with plenty of room for people to see what’s happening,” said Mr Evans.
The Vector offers up to four separate oven chambers in one compact unit, and its special Structured Air technology is designed to deliver faster, more even cooking than conventional appliances. Its ventless operation, and the fact that it needs no water connection, means it can be placed anywhere.
“The Vector is a truly versatile cooking appliance that can increase production, improve quality and save time,” added Mr Evans. “While the benefits it delivers are crystal clear, it’s also a brand new concept, in a category all of its own – which is why these Live events are so useful for foodservice operators.”
During the Vector Live session, Mr Evans will prepare a variety of different products and menus, showing the new technology’s versatility and capability.
