Firm behind kitchen equipment cleaning solution launches dedicated restaurant team

A company behind an innovative soak tank system that removes burnt-on carbon and grease from kitchen equipment is stepping up its focus on the restaurant sector after setting up a dedicated hospitality division.

Vaclensa, which is the manufacturer and supplier of the ‘Decarbonizer’ product that keeps commercial catering products clean, decided to launch its own ‘HORECA’ team following an increase in customers from the restaurant, leisure and foodservice sector.

The new division, consisting of four sales people and 16 service technicians, has a dedicated product range of professional machines highly suited to the particular needs of these environments such as wet and dry vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, steam cleaners and leaf blowers.

Tony Parker, head of HORECA for the UK and Ireland, has been with Vaclensa for 19 years, and prior to that he worked in management positions within the hospitality sector for 15 years.

He said: “We offer a one-stop shop solution for all our customers because we have cleaning machines in every product category and we have one of the largest service divisions in the UK.  Within the HORECA industry we were mainly known for Decarbonizer, but now customers are given the extra support they need to help them easily access the other cleaning machines their business needs.”

Vaclensa is part of the IPC Group of Companies, which was purchased by Tennant Company two years ago.
