Medlock, which employs 62 staff, claims that the strong growth has carried forward into 2015, with first quarter revenues up 20%. It aims to top the £20m turnover mark this year.

Finance director Colin Drury said: “We are pleased to report that the company has achieved record sales and further progress against our business plan.

“Along with our strong balance sheet, these achievements provide a robust platform from which to deliver further long-term strategic growth across the business.

“We have continued to deliver our projects safely, on time, to budget and to the highest quality, leading to further repeat business.”

Drury acknowledged that the company’s customer base had been strengthened with the addition of a number of “premium brands”.

Medlock operates throughout the UK carrying out projects ranging in size from £10,000 to £2m.
