New innovations by Adande, Carpigiani, Synergy Grill, Trak and Unox scored top marks with the judges at Commercial Kitchen yesterday.

All five were awarded Gold in the show’s annual Innovation Challenge Awards, which recognises the best new catering equipment and kitchen tech of the year.

Ten finalists, who were chosen from a shortlist of 25 following a visitor vote on the first day of the show, took turns to impress the judges in the live pitching session yesterday morning.
