Fri-Jado launches refreshed ‘Multisserie’ rotisserie range


Fri-Jado has launched a refreshed range of rotisserie cooking equipment for commercial kitchens that is complete with a high-resolution touch screen display and programme-driven operation.

The new Multisserie range comes equipped with automatic cleaning programmes and an internal condenser which eliminates the need for additional extraction.

The Multisserie represents the very pinnacle of the company’s popular rotisserie range, offering operators a creative solution to cooking in a customer-facing environment.

With a unique 270° view of items being cooked, as well as the unit’s steady rotation and enclosed chamber, the new range help foods to cook up to 50 per cent faster than conventional ovens and open rotisseries, while ‘cook correction’ technology ensures food safety and delivers consistent quality results, the company said.

A brand-new colour touch-screen control delivers enhanced ease of use, while a new user interface with up to 250 pre-programmed menus guarantees consistency, even for those staff with limited training.

A steam generator which has no boiler, as well as humidity control and an optional temperature probe, allows for precise cooking conditions within the chamber.

For enhanced labour savings, the Multisserie range also features fully automatic cleaning technology, allowing an operator to start the cleaning programme at the end of a shift, leaving the machine to complete the cycle overnight or during quiet periods.

Its user-friendly design gives users access to the machine on all three sides, while a range of accessories enables a variety of meats, proteins and vegetables to be quickly cooked in the unit.

An optional internal condenser within the unit can help to eliminate the need for additional extraction, allowing operators to position the appliance without the common ventilation restrictions.

Operators can also add a grease separator, designed to efficiently separate grease from water during the cook cycle and significantly reduce levels of waste from the unit.
