Gamko has signed ‘flavour guru’ and Channel 4 presenter Pritesh Mody as a brand ambassador as it seeks to lead the discussion on refrigeration and optimum drinks temperatures.
The company, a sister brand of Foster Refrigeration, plans to provide bar staff and others working in the industry with a range of information and specialist knowledge about drinks cooling while communicating its expertise.
The theme of optimal serving temperatures is central to the campaign and Gamko hopes that Mr Mody – a regular presenter on prime time show Sunday Brunch – can spread the message.
He will front a video discussing the science of temperature and flavour, as well as upcoming drinks trends for 2020.
“Temperature is vital to getting the most out of drinks – just a few degrees too warm or cold and you lose the complexity of flavour. This is an incredibly useful resource for bar staff as well as others working within the industry,” he said.
The launch of the campaign follows the unveiling of Gamko’s new branding, which recently took place at the HOST exhibition.
