Contract caterer Gather & Gather has strengthened its team with the appointment of a new sales director as it continues on its drive to develop its brand across the UK market.
The company has hired Michael Namock to join the team with a remit for growth across London and the south east. Namock previously held a sales role at Lexington focusing on business development.
Namock said: “I like the maverick nature of the Gather & Gather brand. The concept is really strong on challenging traditional ideas around food service. I’ve been with the team for a few weeks now and everyone’s passion for food and commitment to the brand values is a really attractive mix. I’m really looking forward to playing my part in that drive for change in our industry.”
Gather & Gather has also promoted Carolyn Ball internally from project lead within the marketing team into a business development and sales role covering the Midlands region. Ball’s previous role involved her managing special projects within the marketing team, leading on concepts, market research and brand positioning. Prior to joining Gather & Gather she worked as sales director with premium retail brand Tea Palace.
Gather & Gather enjoyed a successful 2015 with some notable wins and continued to further develop its brand receiving some positive reviews for its food, values and commitment and its own way of delivering contract catering. The business has strong ambitions to build on the success throughout the UK.
