High-end café chain cements Heathrow Airport licensing deal

Travel dining specialist HMSHost International is expanding its footprint in the UK after striking a deal with new licensing partner Ca’puccino at Heathrow Airport.

The Italian high-end cafe chain provides guests with contemporary Italian culinary experiences plans to work with HMSHost to open more outlets in markets that it covers over the next few years.

HMSHost also has licensing agreements at Heathrow with Leon and The Gorgeous Kitchen.

“HMSHost International has clear ambitions for growth,” said CEO Walter Seib. “This agreement with Ca’puccino marks a significant milestone in our strategy to increase our footprint in the rapidly expanding and dynamic UK marketplace through a strong local brand. Our goal is to become the UK’s undisputed and most reliable food and beverage operator.”

Ca’puccino at Heathrow is located at the heart of Terminal 2: The Queen’s Terminal. It is one of 17 sites that it operates worldwide and its seventh in the UK. The chain opened its first UK store in Harrods back in 2008.
