The organisers of HOST say they can’t wait for the event to return “in person” this October – and will welcome attendees from around the world under the banner of “safety and innovation”.
The Milan trade fair, which is the largest catering equipment trade show in Europe, is held every two years, with the last edition taking place in 2019 prior to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Organisers said that due to the easing of restrictions and the new measures decided by governments regarding trade fair structures, it will be able to hold a physical event from 22-26 October.
It already has 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries signed up to the show and plans to put on more than 800 cooking and seminar events during the five days.
The show, which is now in its 42nd year, will be expanded to include Tuttofood, an exhibition for the agri-food sector.
“The HostMilano machine has never stopped in recent months and now the time has come for the Fiera Milano event to celebrate the world of professional hospitality through a physical exhibition held in complete safety thanks to the protocols already in place and tested last September,” organisers said.
